As of October 2011, the ARIES framework is made available through a Creative Commons License (Attribution, Non-commercial, Share-Alike).

If you have a query about whether a particular application of ARIES fits within the licensing provisions, please make contact directly. You can use the form on this page.

Don also welcomes inquiries seeking permissions to use ARIES for purposes not covered under the licensing arrangements, such as for placing the framework on a corporate intranet. Of course, such inquiries must be made in advance of the intended use of ARIES, not retrospectively.
