Workshop Outcomes

As our programs are tailored, the list below is indicative only. Generally, we would expect that a s a result of participating in a New Futures collaborative leadership workshop program, participants will increase their ability to:

  • Build a sense of common purpose and direction among members of the work group
  • Discuss difficult or sensitive issues in ways that minimise defensiveness
  • Develop shared understandings on complex issues
  • Deal productively with resistance
  • Build and sustain momentum for change
  • Coach people in ways that empower and develop them
  • Create a workplace environment that people find motivating and satisfying
  • Deal with performance problems in a productive manner
  • Create a more open and trusting team environment
  • Strengthen their credibility and effectiveness as a leader-manager
